Really nice, pegs together, no tools required, Grooves are lines, looks great. Sure you can probably make a solid oak one that's better but for quick, nice and easy, this is perfect

This was pretty simple to put together. I really appreciate the red felt so that it helps to prevent scratches to either my weapons or to the rack itself. It's pretty lightweight, but I already knew going on this item that it's not real wood like some other premium racks, but it looks attractive enough and good enough to hold lighter to medium weighted weapons.The one gripe I have is the mounting hardware. Why NAILS?? Sure, this may work if you are just nailing this into a wall where anchoring is not really needed, but if you are putting this up on drywall, then I would not feel comfortable using what's included. I ended up using my own mounting screws and anchors which I fortunately had on-hand.

The item arrived in great condition and was assembled in a couple minutes. Very easy to put together and I was able to put the wooden dowel pins in by hand, unlike similar holders where reviews stated they were a struggle. The dimensions are perfect, not too far apart to hold an 18" tanto.The red velvet is a nice touch and will prevent scratches to a piano finish saya. This is the only holder in this style on Amazon that has it, so now I don't have to buy any to apply myself. It looks better in person than in the stock photos.There are a couple minor imperfections on the finish but that's to be expected at this price point. I'll touch them up and paint the nuts matte black before hanging it. Overall the holder looks great and feels sturdy.

I've got a couple heavy swords and was nervous on how this would hold up on the wall with the weight. Well- it did!As other reviews say, yes, it seems cheap- but it's not. Looks nice on the wall too!Review looses one star as it comes with nails to hold it to the wall. Screws would of been MUCH better. I swapped them for screws to help prevent it from falling to the floor.Otherwise, I would recommend this product if you're looking to get something sturdy- just use screws instead lol
