Since I opened this kind of mounts for drywall, I never really have more issues with shelf or any other home projects installations.

I bought the 1/8" toggle bolts mostly for small things to affix to a wall, but the "nut" part kept breaking. I was probably over torquing, but needed to in order to secure it firmly. I couldn't get them tight enough without breaking them, so I had to go with a bigger size. I think these are probably only good for hanging a calendar on the wall...

Well machined. Used it to pull together vertical boards of as long wooden fence without needing to go onto neighbors property - the pass through was easy and the compressive force is solid. I hate poorly machined screw heads or weak metal as the drill bit breaks the x on the head and basically makes the screws useless for a nice fastness of lock. These were great. Highly recommend!

This toggle bolt kit was incredibly easy to use and worked perfectly on my condo drywall. The bolts held up my floating shelves securely, even with the added weight of pictures leaning on them. The kit came with everything needed for the job, and the assortment is well-organized, making it easy to find the right size. It’s excellent value for money—I now have plenty left over for future projects. Highly recommend this kit for anyone looking to hang heavier items safely and efficiently!

Toggle bolts are perfect when you want to hang heavy stuff like a coat rack or towel bar and you don't have a stud to screw it into. These ones are similar to the ones you can buy in the big box store minus the name brand. The only minor complaint, if any, is that the bolts are pretty long. They are three inches which I expected because that's what it was listed but I don't think it needs to be that long. A 2 or 2 1/2 inch bolt would have been fine.
