This clamp is well designed and the associated hardware is of good quality. The only unclear aspect is the galvanized finish over time but that will take time to determine.

The clamp ring is sized for the exterior diameter and the clamp base is sized for the interior diameter, which clearly means that this clamp won't fit on a pipe. Don't bother buying these.

They’re not muffler clamps. Soft metal ,striped u-bolt when tightening them up. Had to buy proper muffler clamps.
