Update: Got the chance to take two vehicles out for a short memorial day weekend trip and drove behind my wife the whole way to SLC and back, several hours worth of driving each way. These bulbs continue to seriously impress me - I had no issues seeing the brakes or turn signals AT ALL in bright midday sunlight shining right onto the back of the truck (I tried to add a video of this to the review for reference, but it wouldn't upload - still shots from the video are the best I can do for now). They may look a little dim in the pictures, but this is BRIGHT sunlight at high elevation where most brake lights get washed out anyway. The camera is compensating slightly due to the sunlight, and I also have 50% tint on the windshield of the vehicle I was filming from. I encourage you to compare the brightness to the other vehicles in the shots - there isn't much difference between them all. I wish I would have started recording sooner; at the previous intersection there was a new dodge charger right next to the truck, and the Zevo bulbs were just as easy to see as the OEM LED brake lights on the charger! They are awesome for these trucks, hands down the best money I've spent on a bulb upgrade. The third brake light bulb is a VLEDs 921, in case anyone was wondering (insane output, but very expensive at $40/ea).Original review:*The people whining about hyperflashing clearly don't know how LED bulbs work, and didn't bother to read the description and/or look at all of the pictures before buying. Their ignorance is not the fault of the bulbs. You WILL need load resistors to use these bulbs without them hyperflashing or sending "bulb out" warnings*I'm incredibly impressed with these bulbs for the money. I can't overstate that enough...for only having four LED chips per bulb, these are incredible. Will they work in every light housing for everyone? No, probably not - but for a 2018 Silverado, the backward firing LED setup replicates the stock incandescent bulbs darn near perfectly. These Zevo bulbs replaced some JDM ASTAR bulbs with tons of LED chips on them, which were decently bright but had the following issues:1. The ASTAR bulbs are a side/end firing design. Bright in their own right, but they relied entirely on the bulb itself to produce all of the light output and didn't take advantage of the reflector at all. The end result is that the whole housing filled with a softer red glow, rather than the sharp, crisp reflector cutoff that the stock incan bulbs provided. They may technically be "brighter" than the Zevo bulbs, but a lot of that brightness just gets scattered and wasted.2. The low to high output of the ASTAR bulbs was very mis-matched. They were too bright when just the tail lights were illuminated at night (making it almost seem as though the brake lights were on), and not nearly bright enough when the brakes were actually applied, especially during the day. The sunlight washed them out horribly, to the point of being almost dangerous when slowing down or signaling/changing lanesThe Zevo bulbs, however, solve ALL of these issues. They fire perfectly into the reflector and take full advantage of it. The two smaller LEDs are for the tail light function, and the two larger ones are for the brake lights. This is a big deal, because the bulbs aren't simply supplying more voltage to a small LED to make it brighter. The actual brake LEDs themselves are different, and much more powerful, so when you apply the brakes you are activating a separate circuit inside the bulb. The brake function is MUCH brighter this way, and again, it takes advantage of the reflector perfectly. You get a very nice, low powered glow for the tail lights that isn't obnoxious or confusing to other drivers at night, and a very bright, very easily seen brake light function - even during the day in bright sun.Again, I'm incredibly impressed. Time will tell how long these hold up, but the heat sinks are huge and they seem very well engineered. I'm confident I'll get many years out of these, but I'll update the review with any issues. One thing to note is that you will need to use resistors if you are using these for signal bulbs because they don't draw enough current to avoid hyperflashing. This wasn't a big deal for me because I had already wired them in for my previous LED bulbs, but its something to consider if you're converting to LED from incandescent for the first time. Resistors are cheap and simple to install - lots of YouTube videos on them. You'll have to pardon the quick photos - they may not look that impressive on the camera, but in person there is a HUGE difference.

So. I had a couple of these for both my mom’s car a Nissan Altima 2014.. and my car, a 2011 Corolla which you see pictured here. So, I have seen a review or two where the top of the bulb doesn’t have a led and thus casts a bit of the shadow or dark spot but that is made up by the bright sides of the led which aims to the reflectors and hence reflects outward. I think it’s true where the bulb is point straight ahead with the “top shining direct†(though an incandescent/ halogen is all around 360. This happened to my mom’s Altima casting a vertical dark spot but it’s still bright. I decided not to use them there. Now, I went and installed on my ‘11 Corolla and from what I seen from the outside the bulb position it’s like a diagonal somewhat and out downward position. Hard to describe. They look a bit better somewhat and there is a not so much of a dark spot but it’s there, look a bit better I think. This is just opinion but I like these LEDs and they’re made by sylvaniana being a huge automotive lighting supplier. They’re more peace of mind than your halogens and will almost not burn out (or it will eventually but in a long long time)

These are a perfect fit for my 2013 Acura RDX. I don’t like that the LED makes the blinker go so fast but the lights are bright.

These were easy to install, they’re nice & bright and they work well! I’ve ordered the resisters I need directly from Sylvannia (what I need isn’t available on Amazon) and will need to install them so I don’t keep seeing the brake-light-out warning on my control panel.I called and emailed Sylvania to verify what I needed for our vehicles. They were always responsive and helpful. I was hesitant to order except from Sylvania bc of some of the reviews on Amazon, and then from comments by reps at Sylvania that lead me to believe there are counterfeit products being sold as OEM. Sylvania warrants their products but they must be OEM. Make sure you’re buying from a reputable source. Sylvania rep said use iServe (looks like new name is Pattern) for their OEM products.

This is an ideal LED upgrade for tail/brake lights on the 2004 Toyota 4-Runner. The red tail/brake lights on this vehicle are separate from the turn signals (yellow LED's) so there is no issue with hyperflash. These bulbs were only recently installed, therefore I cannot comment on their longevity, but I am satisfied with their color, intensity, and performance so far.

Needed to replace non-LED lights and found these. They are very bright and great replacements. We highly recommend these!

*** Update ***My halogen bulbs for the parking lights have burnt out. So I went ahead and bought these same bulbs to replace them. Guess what? The brake lights I changed 3 years ago are just as bright as these new ones. Now that's a quality led to not have dimmed over the years (as some leds tend to do). I'm thankful Sylvania made reliable bulbs like this.Btw installation is easy. Don't get a mechanic. Just check on YouTube or try to remove the carpet yourself to access the bulbs. The ONE thing imma say that's somewhat of a design flaw is that the halogen bulbs fully fills the reflector housing. While these will fill around 85% of it. The other 15% will have darker shadow thanks to have LEDs on each side. I'm not really complaining because this is the product that I want for my vehicle. But I included some pictures to try to illustrate this.*** original review ****I own a Lexus ES350. I installed these on May 2019. A whole three years later and they are still going as strong. Have not dimmed. And the brightness Is really good but not blinding like those leds with 60 led chips on them.I highly recommend these considering how reliable they are.
