These are almost impossible to find in big box stores. Very happy Amazon carries them. They are exactly what we needed. We had several bulbs burn out. It was getting difficult to see clearly in the bathroom. Now... no problem. They look great. No issues using the dimmer and the quality is excellent.

The bulbs were the perfect size and soft bright light for my bathroom fixture. Unfortunately, the bulbs are thin glass and very delicate. It was packaged well, but one bulb was shattered. I needed three bulbs, and one old bulb was still burning so I had enough with the two new unbroken bulbs. They matched what I had quite nicely. I am not sure how long they will last, I just installed them. They look good, no flickering.

The only way to dim these I feel, is to use less bulbs. The bulbs get really hot fat, but they cool off after being turned off quick as well. They've been so great to my eyes, as I have astigmatism. I need to see without risking pain so, I figured these would work & they do!

40 watts doesn't sound very bright, but when you have a string of them it's like 250 watts, very bright! They are long lasting.
