This is a different brand from the bulb that originally came with my security light, but it fits and works perfectly. I can tell no difference at all.

Rated to last 24,000 hours. This bulb started flickering off and on after only 230 days. It is controlled by a photocell to run only when it is dark, so assuming (generously) that it ran an average of 14 hours a day, than means it should have lasted about 1700 days. The previous bulb lasted a FEW YEARS.
