Not much to say about this replacement button for my Symons valve. Tines on old one was broken off. Bought this to replace it. It fit perfectly with the same chrome finish as if I never replaced the old one.

That was a waste of $2.50The technical details says "Product Dimensions 1 x 2 x 3 inches" It is smaller than a dime.

I was so happy that this fit perfectly and stayed on, as my old one had more than half of the little ears broken or bent over (you can't bend them back, they're way too delicate and they break right off) and it would fall off because of that. Well, recently I had to remove this new button in order to make an adjustment to the hot water temp limit. But when the button came off, half the little ears were in the same condition as my old one. At least the old one lasted 35 yrs. of multiple removals, this one: 8 months, one removal.

The cap was the exact replacement. A little adjustment of the prongs and it fit like a glove. Perfect match.
