The best and only way to get the best bluetooth connectivity for your car is to upgrade your music system. That said mine has a decent (all) JBL set up with navigation. I don't want to go down the upgrade rabbit hole because I know myself and I'll end up spending two to three times any initial budget. (The Focal system keep calling me and I continue to ignore them). This product with 5.3 bluetooth connectivity and the ability to answer calls caught my attention. When I first installed and tuned it, I was deflated. The volume level was subpar. Then I changed the FM frequency to one no way near an active radio station and it improved at least 60%, wow !. Is it perfect mind bending sound, come on be real. For that you need to spend a few thousand dollars. So for saving me from going crazy and be very serviceable little unit with ambient lighting it is a 5.

This device actually worked as advertised. Setup was easy: Plugged into the 12 volt accessory outlet in my 2005 4Runner. Fit was secure, started the car and the Syncwire tuned to the low frequency station where I had preset my FM radio (88.1). Had to scan up 1 level to 88.3 which had all static.Tuned the Syncwire (push on top button) and it synced to that same station. Tested with mobile phone sources like music, Alexa, and made a phone call. Sound quality was crystal clear. I had total access to control the volume from my car’s volume controls. Phone call really clear on both ends.

Unit was very easy to install and connect to. Just took a few minutes. Only 1 small issue. When you plug a charging cord into the unit there’s very loud static. However, with the unit plugged into the port, I can plug my charger into the lighter, so not that big of a deal. Very satisfied.

We bought my daughter an older car with no blue tooth capabilities. This worked perfectly for her to listen to Spotify. Easily connected to blue tooth on her phone and automatically connected to her radio! Plus it has two charging USB ports.

Works beautifully. The bass boost really sets it apart. I have it in a 2013 VW Golf, with only AM/FM and compact disc capabilities. With this, I can use the Wifi on my cell phone to listen to my old school jazz. Coltrane never sounded better!

Love that you can change songs from the device and not from your phone. The 5.3 version like this versus the 5.0 connects better when you start your vehicle and lastly it's nice that you don't hear a forien accent stating that it is connected and it just gives and audiable tone when it's connected. Charges fast the voice is great for hands free calls

I'm genuinely impressed by this, especially given how unreliable and weak sounding the original car FM transmitters were. The packaging was solid, and the manual and quickstart guide were straightforward.It was already set to 87.5 which is perfect for my area, and the car radio grabbed that frequency silently - absolutely no background noise or hiss at all. The Bluetooth sync was quick, and the controls worked perfectly with my Samsung. If even fitted perfectly into the very awkward space on my 2005 Honda, as shown in the picture.The sound is the star though. If you told me a CD was playing I wouldn't question it. It's clear, crisp, carries lots of bass and has no interference. I did notice that very compressed and loud MP3s could introduce a bit of clipping if the phone was at high volume, but a couple of taps down on the joystick found a perfect clean level. From then the car volume does all the work. In-between songs there's absolutely no sound at all - I assume the FM signal is so strong it wipes out any background interference, and the transmitter is completely free from hiss and static.The only downside I'd say, and it's not a big deal, is that the light ring is a bit irritating. It seems to want to pulse with the music, but it's all over the place. Two quick taps on the red button and it turns off, so no problem.I haven't tried this for hands free phone calls as I don't like phone conversations when I'm driving, so I can't comment on that. As a streaming music solution though I absolutely recommend it.
