I like the Synology NAS. However, the reseller Aventis sold me an upgrade configuration that would not work with the NAS. I purchased the upgrade from 8 Gigs of RAM o 32 Gigs of RAM. Unfortunately, after having to return the 32 Gigs of RAM 3 times, because the Synology NAS would not boot with 32Gigs of RAM, regardless of what brand of RAM Aventis shipped me. AAventis sold me a configuration that does not work with the Synology NAS I purchased from them. At this point I have the Synology working with 24 Gigs of RAM and I am still waiting for Aventis to refund me for the 16 Gig RAM Chip that I cannot use with the Synology because it will not work 32 Gigs of RAM which is the configuration Aventis sold me on.My advice is to not purchase from Aventis and find another reseller. Still waiting on Aventis to refund me for their mistake.

Once I set it up and have everything installed, the software told me that the hard drives it came with were unusable. I purchased this specific one so that I wouldn't have to buy the separate drives, now I see that I wasted over $1000 with the sellers cheap drives that don't work.

The SSD's are not on the manufacturer's compatibility list for the NAS. This makes this bundle "useless". If we were to install the SSD's we could possibly void the warranty.

I bought this built option from Aventis stores. it is a great solution for our needs with decent amount of data having to be backed up on a small scale network.we also are testing the use of multi-users back ups and so far it's been very handling it very well
