Use these over a quarter inch hole in your jars, drill top to bottom in order for these to have flat connection. Good adhesion, prevents contams, but allows free gas exchange. 30 is a good quantity as you can put them on your jars and never need to replace them. A drop of alcohol to the surface will sterilize them and keep them good to go. Front and back photos for you here. Useful tool in your culinary myco work!

One thing I really like about these is that the non-adhesive filter portion is pretty wide. I had some other brands that were tiny and hard to line up on your jar lid holes. The adhesive is nice too. Happy with these!

I used these on my fruiting chambers for fruiting mushrooms. They work great. They allow air exchange but they also keep out contaminants. I just wish they were about 3X the size
