I use these for placing filters on mason jar lids for doing liquid mushroom spawn and for grain spawn jars.I have used a couple of dozen filters so far. I have had no issues. They jars / lids / filters do go through a pressure cooker. Depending on the whether I'm doing liquid culture or a grain spawn, that means either 30 or 90 minutes at 15 psi. There hasn't been any degradation and there are a few lids / filters that I've used 4 times and they've kept their integrity.Just one warning in regard to using this or any other syringe filter for this purpose: make sure you put a piece of aluminum foil loosely over the lid and filter combo. This is to prevent condensation during cool-down in the pressure cooker from dripping into the filter and possibly restricting air flow.

Too small for what I was going to use them for. My fault. Didn't check dimensions. I can still use them for something else.

Utilizing these for my mycology hobby. Where sterile work is absolutely critical for success. These were incredibly easy to work with. I installed them extremely fast and have ran them multiple times through my pressure cooker with zero issues. Great product! Important to keep in mind, if using in a pressure cooker to cover the top of the container with foil to prevent the filter from getting wet. Recommended!!
