I didn’t know what to eciect. All I knew was Thule wanted $147 for two eye bolts! So I searched Amazon and found these. Bacon said these are “frequently returnedâ€. Let me just tell you that I just ordered two more (16)! These are STURDY, thick, heavy eye bolts. They fit my Thule caprock platform rack perfectly. I really love these. The opportunities for these are huge. I just ordered more to hang lanterns and a towel drying line from the t-slots on the side of my rack. I have no idea why you’d return these. They are fantastic! For Thule I ordered 8 x black 8 mm and they’re perfect. I would say they send tons of washers. Not sure if I’m going something wrong because I only used one per eye bolt?? You will be very happy you purchased these eye bolts!

I bought these to use as tie down points on my Rhino-Rack-Tracks, specifically I have the Rhino rack RT20 tracks on my van. Wasn't sure they would work but they fit great. Can't speak to the durability or anti-rust properties yet.

Good tie-downs. The bases were a little wide for the t-slots in my roof rack so I used a grinder to trim them down to fit.

Using this on a new Kuat Ibex truck bed rack. I bought two packs for 8 total and have them installed on the corners to use for tying down gear or hanging a lantern etc on. The black finish seems fine and had no issues or missing hardware.

These are very handy, I've got a dozen of them on my overlanding rig that I use for tie down points.The description states "Premium Quality: Made of solid 304 stainless steel, it features rust resistant and corrosion resistance even in salt water ..." which is wrong. The black ones will rust after a couple months as you can see in my pics. So if ya want the black ones ya better hit them with a good paint to keep them from rusting.

I have a hardshell FSR roof top tent and these fit great. Adding tie down points on all sides. Super secure. Heavy duty.I used a large screw driver to tighten them and align to the angle I desired.Highly recommend. Would order again if I found the need for more of this style of tie-down.

These eye nut tie downs and all supplied parts are stainless steel and are extremely well made. They fit my Thule Wingbar Evo perfectly and required no modifications. I added a 7.5 mm nylon spacer between the bar and eye nut. This prevents the threaded screw from extending into the eye nut. For max. strength and safety, the eye nut should always be installed parallel to the bar as this is the correct way to use an eye nut with side loading.

As advertised. They fit my Thule wingbar evo nicely. I don't use them much and usually keep them in my glove box, but it's nice to know when I need to tie something down these are going to work.
