Perfect size for a stick of butter. The lid is not secure, but I find that to be convenient when trying to access the butter. If you want something where the lid is gripped on, don’t buy this.

This is functionally my favorite butter dish I’ve ever owned, but aesthetically not my favorite which I will explain later. I wanted a plastic one instead of ceramic because my kids keep breaking the ceramic ones. The plastic is super thick so I imagine it will hold up great to the abuse my family will put it through (we’ve had it for about a month). The size of perfect; I buy Costco butter sticks and they fit great. Also I like that it is like a bowl with a flat lid instead of a tray with a cup style lid because with the other style, every time you take the lid on and off it would slide along the sides of the butter and get gross. With this style, the butter is safely contained in the bowl part and the lid never touches it. The look is relatively unobtrusive in my modern kitchen, although I would love an option with no words printed on it, but couldn’t find one I liked, so the words face backwards in my kitchen and the plain side faces out. I also wish it was a pure white instead of creamy white, but again that is my personal preference. As far as function goes, I am very happy with it, I would just love to see other options as far as aesthetics goes. Still deserves 5 stars in my opinion, though!

I don't write many reviews but I love this butter dish. It's the right size, looks like porcelain and doesn't look like cheap plastic plus easy to handle so am happy with this product.

So I can use this dish for Kerrygold butter, but barely. I have to smash it into the base which is slightly too narrow. It works slightly better if I angle the bottom corners with a knife the full length of the butter. There is enough room on the ends to smash in the extra. :)The butter dish will easily work for west coast or east coast butters as well.It’s the best dish that I have found for Kerrygold butter that isn’t breakable.Also, my printing was centered. I have used this now for a few weeks and leave it out on the counter. It's a great dish for fridge or counter (soft butter)I hope my photos are helpful to your purchase decision.

É um pouco menor do que imaginava. Não cabe uma tablete de manteira inteiro quando está gelado, tem que esperar derreter e ir colocando. O pote não é cerâmica, é um plástico que imita. É bonito, e a tampa encaixa perfeito.

Cute little butter dish. I knew I was taking a risk with having crooked lettering like some, but I was lucky and it was perfectly straight! Seems to be of good quality and was a decent price. Can easily fit a stick of butter in it, a little more if I wanted. If I could give any feedback back... same design in a bit bigger of an option, but I knew what size it was before I purchased it. Looks cute on my counter. Happy with my purchase thus far.

I love that this butter dish has a lid the fits tightly keeping the butter fresh. it is a thick ceramic, very well made. Its also very cute. I'm happy with it.
