I've been through a couple of the traditional "crush" juicers that press a fruit (most commonly lemon/lime for us) using a lever to squeeze the juice. I've found them all wanting. They've been easily bent/broken, and even when they "work", they don't get very much juice out.So on a whim, we ordered this. Thought "it looks like something my grandma would have used", and thought that technology had advanced beyond that. But it's about the simplest juicing device design that exists, and it works FAR better than the crush juicers. It not only isn't prone to the mechanical stresses of those juicers, but it gets MUCH more juice out of the fruit.We liked it so much that when I unfortunately knocked it to the floor and broke it, I immediately got back on the site and ordered the exact same thing to replace it. There's no need to try anything else. Simple and effective. If it's good enough for Grandma, it's good enough for us!

Beautiful vintage style glass juicer just like my mom used to have. Bought for my husband who juices a lot of lemons. Best one yet he says, gets all the juice out quickly. Doesnt really separate the seeds well though. Its a good size, wide, low shape and stable, so theres no risk of tipping. Highly recommend.

This one is the perfect size!! It’s pretty big so oranges do well with it but I as worried about my limes. Nope, they did just fine! The tip narrows enough that it’s just small enough to fit a lime on. Also, it’s nice and heavy duty!

My cat knocked my glass juicer (in the family since the 1950's) off the counter and it broke. I looked around when I visited antique and vintage stores to find a replacement but didn't spot one. Finally, I looked on Amazon and ebay and was happy to see this item for sale. It really is beautiful and may be heavy enough to keep the cat from pushing it off the counter again.

Rough start it came broken in many pieces. I requested a replacement and in no time the vendor sent the juicer and arrive in great shape…Thank you!! Definitely 5 stars âï¸ on the juicer and another 5 star âï¸ for a great customer service….This juicer is classy and a classic ðŸ˜

I like how old fashioned it is. It’s good quality and this is the way I like to juice my lemons. I then get to pour it where I need it from the juicer through the spout.

We love this type of "old-fashioned" juicer because it works really well to extract all the juice, including the pulp. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are two little black dots within the glass. At first I thought it was stained or mildewed, but it is definitely blown right into the glass. Not a big deal; it just looks like it's dirty when it's not.**UPDATE: I changed my rating to 1 star because after only two months, there is a large crack along the side, and sadly, my return window was only for 30 days. The description says it's dishwasher safe, and I only put it on the top rack, but this time when I was getting it out, I noticed the crack. If you get this juicer, I recommend hand washing only. I won't buy another one.

This juicer works like a charm! I can juice several lemons with it in no time, and it sure comes in handy for a favourite lemon chicken recipe that I make frequently. Made of sturdy, heavy glass, this juicer is beautifully crafted, and, with proper care, it should last a lifetime. It washes up well, making clean up a breeze!

This is a great juicer. Sharp enough and does all sized citrus easily. I wash it straight after each use so no need to use the dishwasher as some reviewers mentioned they'd experience breakages. I think it would be OK but it's so good I don't want to risk it and it's no big deal to just give it a rinse and wipe clean after use so nothing sticks. Also looks good. Quite big.

This thing is the best. Works so well, my lemons are dry as a bone when I’m done with this thing. So easy to clean. Nice and Heavy- really good quality.
