The lid does not hold up if accidently dropped and has cracked and chipped away. Otherwise a great jar for making dressings.

I don't understand why companies make and sell products but properly tested for their use. This could be a great product but has several fatal flaws:It's TALL, like hard to find a place that it fits in the refrigerator tall. On top of that, the plastic lid does not fit tightly and must be held closed while shaking. Because it's so tall, this requires two hands or the lid could pop off and spray salad dressing everywhere (not fun to clean up, trust me).It's also heavy glass and the lid leaks enough that if you make salad dressings with oil, the outside of the glass becomes greasy and slippery.It's very difficult to clean because of the small parts and crevices on the lid.Overall, not recommended and I returned mine.

Love this. It's easy to fill and doesn't leak when you shake the dressing. It also pours well and doesn't drip down the outer sides after pouring dressing on your salad. I'm extremely pleased with this item.

It is bigger than it looks on line.If you fill it the oil takes a while to warm up and dissolve. The inserts seem to serve no purpose.

I would highly recommend this product. So far, there have no problems with the plastic cap. Although, I will say, after reading the reviews I am extra careful with it.

I bought this for friends and I've had nothing but positive feedback on it. They are enjoying using it. In particular the size of the shaker which helps them make larger quantities when necessary. The clear glass also helps with measuring and seeing the ingredients blending together.

I have it for a few months now. It was a bit larger than I thought, but I got used to it. It is very comfortable to work with. I particularly like the little spout inside where the dressing is coming from; when you stop pouring and bring it up all the liquid is sliding back in without any mess. Good design there, and good choice of material. Good tight enclosure, does not leak when shaking to mix.The only thing that could be improved is adding some knurling to the metal part so it is easier to open when you want to refill. When it's screwed in tightly and gets a little greasy I found it difficult to open because my fingers were just slipping around.
