Price is good it is light weight and easy to use sits on a desk without taking up to much room, and makes working on your art easy on the neck cause you dont look down but straight at your work.

The easel works great for my canvas painting. It does well on a table top where it doesn’t slip and I can also use it sitting in my armchair as it sits comfortably on my lap and the chair arms. The adjustability is key.

My daughter loves this easel! She loves the functionality of it, she can easily move it to fit her whether she is standing, or sitting.

I’ve been doing paint by numbers and this was the only one I could find that was big enough to fit the canvas on it. It’s much better than hunching my back over the table, lol. It’s sturdy and has been a big help.

I was shocked at how light it is, and the reason why is that it's not solid beechwood as the description states. The frame is, but the main surface is very thin plywood. Hey, it might be beechwood plywood, but it's not made from SOLID beechwood. Ok, does it matter? It could be a good thing because it works and looks great and it's super light to carry especially with the shoulder strap. So while I wish the main board were thicker so it would feel more durable, the materials are sufficient for their purpose. Just don't drop it. As a tabletop easel it's excellent, it's easy to transport and store when you're done using it, The easel also looks nice enough to display your art on. The sale price made this a good buy.

By the looks of this online, it appeared to be more solid than it actually was. The main drawing area is a very thin piece of wood, like a couple millimeters thick. I wanted it to have more substance, but I guess that would make it much heavier. This is extremely light. Way lighter than I thought it would be. Maybe I can live with the thinness of the wood. But one thing that bothers me the most about this is the height of the drawing surface. While the whole product's dimensions are 16.5" wide by 12" tall, the paper holder at the bottom is a half inch tall. That makes the usable drawing surface 16.5" wide by 11.5" tall. If you're primarily drawing with 9" x 12" paper like I am (a very popular size to work with), that means you can only use this drawing surface in landscape, not portrait. Portrait would stick out by half an inch at the top. I tried rotating the easel onto its side to see if I could use it in portrait orientation, but it really isn't meant for that, so that's a no. The other thing that bothered me a bit about this product is that it wiggles around and isn't as sturdy as what the reviews say here. I'm not sure what they consider sturdy. But this was wobbly. The feet weren't level to begin with, so you have to sort of bend the frame a bit to see if you can get it to be level. That works, but it doesn't inspire confidence. And I suspect over use, that frame will become a little off again, causing it to wobble again. I guess it's fine for the amount you pay for it. It's not super expensive at all. I just wish it was a little more solid and added that extra half inch at the top to enable 9 x 12 portrait sketching.
