Really great purchase! We live in an apartment and so it was nice to have an indoor fireplace for the holidays. It is super easy to use. This fire pit is great for indoors. It’s safe and easy to use. The flames stays controlled and it doesn’t get too big or scary. It looks nice and fancy also. I used it outside as well, and it still performed well when under a little wind. It also makes the immediate area moderately warm when you’re using it. Love it!!!

This little fire pit is perfect for my apartment. I won't cook s'mores on it because I can see how it could be a little messy. I have another one that I use out on my balcony. Perfect for the s'mores but the ambiance and it makes it a little warm in here. I noticed that one I walk up the steps. I can feel the heat. It's just perfect!!!

I love the idea of this and have seen similar versions on social media so I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. Here's the thing, every single person who looks at it says it looks like a basic kleenex box. Lol. It does and I can't unsee it. The steel parts also feel like they are a cheaper quality. Maybe if you spruce it up with decorating around it, it could work decor-wise?

But there are better ways to make S'mores. One over-toasted dripping marshmallow and this poor thing is a mess! We've been using alcohol burning mini fireplaces for years. In fact, we converted our living room firepace to alcohol burning logs years ago. No more going outside to rake out the ashes on a cold winter's day. One of the things we like about this mini-fireplace is that burning alcohol releases water into the air as well as heat, which keeps your sinuses happy during cold dry weather. After assembling this, we filled it about half full with our special "fireplace alcohol" and gave it a trial run in the living room. It burned about a half hour, and produced a lovely flickering glow that warmed the room. (Literally.) The box it came in calls it a "lamp." I wouldn't try to read by it, but it *IS* a great miniature fireplace that adds a gracious ambience to any place friends and family gather. I might even let people roast mini hot dogs on it for a patio party, but NO marshmallows! Way too hard to cleanup! Very well made, and includes a fire box cover to extinguish the fire whenever you wish. This is FUN!

Please do not try roasting marshmallows over it though! They make a gooey mess if they get on the glass or down in the fuel area. If you just want a nice looking tabletop fire for display, this is a good choice. It uses ethanol fuel which burns clean and is odorless.It's supposed to be safe for indoor use but I only use it outside.It burns quite a while depending on how much fuel you use (and what type of fuel!)Using purified ethanol, it will burn longer than using isopropyl alcohol.Very nice, attractive product.

This was easy to setup. A couple of glass panels inserted into the housing and it is ready to go. I filled it with 70% alcohol. It created a charming little flame that added a nice ambiance to the room. The effect was much better in a darkened room where the small fire pit became the focus. I had the pit raised and the glass creates an infinity flame effect. I will complain that the glass pieces did not sit straight up, but tilted outward. This looked a little less polished and diminished the infinity flame effect slightly. Otherwise, the overall construction was good. It extinguished easily with the included extinguisher. My advice on using alcohol is do not fill until you are ready to use and plan on burning most of it off. Alcohol evaporates quickly and will dry out before you use it again. I could also see this as the center piece of a romantic evening table setting. That may come soon.

It stated on their website that it can burn up to an hour mine didn’t I contacted the seller when I said it burnt for about 8mins she said “I’m unreasonable†I didn’t rerun immediately tried other ways around it set my alarm again and it burn for 20 minutes & second time 26minutes definitely not up to an hour.
