This is the second one We’ve bought. Got the first one about 4 years ago. As with the first one, we converted it to a solar outdoor foundation. We simply pulled off the pump that came with it from the upward flow tube and replaced it with a similar pump that connects to a solar panel. Then we set the fountain in a large shallow dish to make a bird bath. The first one held up really well. Survived thru almost daily scrubbings til the finish was nearly worn off, hence the purchase of the second one. It’s a nice sturdy little fountain that makes a small gurgling sound and the conversion to an outdoor bird bath has attracted all kinds of wild life which drink and bathe in it, hummingbirds, robins, chipmunks and squirrels just to name a few. Would definitely recommend.

Cute, works. Does not make noise. It would be nice if there was a trickling sound created by the water falling, but the water runs too smoothly to make a sound.

Bought this for my friend who is turning her bedroom into a little mini spa. She loved it. We put it together and turned it on.Nice sound of water. It's a very good choice for smaller rooms. Shipping was fast and there were no problems at all. It arrived well packaged.

When I first set up this fountain, I had it on a wood surface and the motor was so loud that I was very disappointed. Then I put it on a large cork coaster. When I first turned it on the second time, there was a noticeable trickling sound and I was trying to decide whether I could live with the pump noise. Then after about a minute, the trickling sound and the pump noise both disappeared. Now there is a very faint low hum which easily fades into the background as white noise. Honestly, my computer fan is much louder. I figure that between the cork absorbing sound and the pump becoming saturated with water, that's what finally made it quiet. True, it doesn't have a trickling water noise, but it is mesmerizing to stare at. I like it.

Several things to mention for my unhappiness with this little fountain:1) No instructions included whatsoever. Nada.2) Very cheaply made3) There are NO WATER SOUNDS produced at all - you can't even hear the pump. Nothing. Silent.4) Packaged very poorly. They just dumped it in in a plastic bag and shoved it in a box the size of a small refrigerator. I do not recommend this product.

Love this fountain. It's a great size for a side table, motor is quiet, and has a fairly large reservoir BUT it has blistered. Looks and feels like metal but it must be a painted surface. ☹ So bummed...

The motor is hardly loud at all. You can’t hear any water. But for the price the quality and product is great! I absolutely love it. There’s no leakage or anything. Just followed the simple instructions and it turned out great. I replaced the rocks because I wanted a different color (not sure if you are supposed to do that or not lol) and it still works just fine. Super happy with ny purchase!!

La compré para regalarla, a mi amiga le encantó. Tiene con ella un año y sigue funcionando.El único pero que le pongo es que para limpiarla (cambiarle el agua y limpiar el deposito de agua) hay que quitar la plataforma donde están las piedras y desconectar la fuente de energÃa que está dentro del agua, y para conectarlo es demasiado tedioso.
