This looks and fits great on my 2010 4Runner Limited. The only reason it took a little while to install was because the car is older and bolts were rusty. Other then that it was very easy.

I've done my research the product is contemporary and matches the lines of my 2015 4R. Others have mentioned to use 6 sided sockets and a flex head ratchet and they are right its a must, as the space to get to the bolts leave very little wiggle room reaching the crash bar. This is a 2-4 hr project depending how mechanically inclined you are. Unfortunately for me one of the bolts was stubborn and I had to take it in to get it removed so don't let anything stop you from completing the install. The product after install looks great! It is very solid and aggressive appearing, gaining 50 lbs of steel. The only tip I can give before installing the bull bar is to make sure to leave the supporting bracket arms loose or you will have a difficult time mounting. Good luck!

This definitely took a while to install (right at 2 hours). There are a few things my husband mentioned that could’ve been better like a little more clear instructions and better packaging for the hardware. Overall, it’s a good piece and feels sturdy after getting through the installation.

My wife wanted a bull bar on the front of her 2019 4Runner TRD off road premium. She also wanted red D-Rings because she thought they looked cool. This bull bar isn’t real heavy duty but it’s well made and should hold up fine for a visual appearance application. The bull bar doesn’t come with D-ring mounts so I sanded off the paint and welded on D-ring mounts to it. The Rustoleum spray on bedliner is an exact match to the bars factory finish so I used it to repaint the areas I sanded off for welding. I had to explain to the wife that the bar and the D-rings aren’t heavy duty enough to use as recovery points BUT her baby will never be taken off road anyways so it’ll work just fine. Overall, good value for the money spent. Installation isn’t difficult. You’ll definitely want a long handle flex head ratchet to get to the 3 bumper bolts as they’re kinda in an odd location to reach with anything else.

Got item in good shape and install was ok. The only issue I have is it blocks my Pre Crash sensor and turns it off. I would return it but took to long to install and a pain to return. It does look good on there.

This Bull Bar is a must have I feel on all four runners. I love it! Although I found out after the fact that the Bull Bar interferes with the PCS safety device I wasn’t going to take no for an answer. I first reached out to the seller to see if they have maybe some modification such as brackets to lower the Bull Bar down. They responded very quickly informing me there is no modifications to resolve this matter at this time and that they would be happy to refund me my money. Needless to say I was determined and not to put myself on a pedestal but I am very mechanically inclined. I put my engineering hat on and started taking things apart under the hood to get to the sensor. After a couple of hours of thinking and contemplating I felt the best approach was to lower the sensor right below its current position from factory. To make a long story short I was able to utilize the same hardware and retrofitting it right below it with of course a few tests and trials. The great news is it is securely installed PCS is 100% functional. I would like to add the cruise control is not so abrupt as it used to be for those of you have used it on the highway you know what I mean. Listen closely it took a little ingenuity and I must admit foresight a beautiful thing I had a lot of back-and-forth on doing things and before it was all said and done there’s a few steps I really didn’t have to take in order to get to the final installation success. Not sure how many of you are gonna reach out to me or to do in this instance I’ve never been in this position before. But I am willing to help. If the seller is willing to talk about this and moving forward who knows what can happen. I strongly feel a simple template along with instructions to retrofit the sensor can be included in the package in order to make this Bull bar I hit.

It doesn't look gaudy or contain an overkill bush guard protective appearance.
