I was restoring a 30 cal air cooled machine gun and I was missing the tri pod. I found the tri pod but the pintle was missing. So the gun was not done. Just for grins I looked here and was schocked to find one. Now I knew for certain that this must be a crappy reproduction but I was desperate, so I bought one. When it came in I was dumb founded, it was perfect and it fit. Great deal!

Quality is okay for what it is, however it will not fully seat in my usgi tripod. Thusly it will not lock in. It would normally be fine but during rapid firing, the gun bounces around and it affects accuracy.

Great cheaply priced pintle for your 1919. This unit does the job and holds your 1919 in an M2 style tripod securely. Good price, well made but would rate higher is this had been anodized or parkerized instead of painted. I ended up using stove black, wood stove paint to actually get a good finish on it. The vendor also usually does not keep this item stocked. Recently with all of the airsoft types wanting cooler toys, they have been buying these as well. Get them now before it gets even harder to get for your real 1919.
