The pontoon scarf reduces the chance of skipped stitches and thread breaks as the fabric is flexed up and down by the rapidly moving needle. I have been struggling with embroidery on my Babylock Destiny. Thread shredding and thread looping. I slowed the machine down to the lowest setting and I also reduced the density of some of the designs but continued to have problems. I decided to try one of these Klasseneedles, size 90/14 instead of my other brand. WOW! Stitched beautifully. I though there was something seriously wrong with my machine and was ready to take it in for service. This needle made all the difference in the world.
