The pull tab with the cord that disengages the magnetic buckle broke within 7 days of owning and wearing. The product description advises to gently pull the cord when unbuckling. I read and acknowledged the product description advice, but apparently still pulled too hard and it snapped clean off. Bummer, because I like everything about this product, I just wish this pull tab was better reinforced.**update**After two months of daily wear, I am updating this review to 5 stars for two reasons:1. The product itself is excellent. I broke the pull tab as referenced above, but not having that tab has proven to be a non-issue. I can buckle and un-buckle the fasteners with ease after using this product on a daily basis for two months. The ease of use in donning and removing my body armor is significantly improved thanks to the upgrade this cummerbund provides. My body armor fit the same way everyday now. The buckle fasteners are secure. Not once has anything popped open or off, unlike the original equipment velcro fastening system that came with my body armor that would disengage if i bent or hunched in certain ways. All-in-all this cummerbund is fantastic.2. Within a few days of my original review, Black Gunpowder contacted me. Their messaging and willingness to work with me went a long way in showing that they care about the customer experience and that they stand by their product.

Guys. Spend the extra money on a good QD cummerbund. This may at first glance look like a good purchase but the material they use for the QD clips is so cheap it’s not even funny. As soon as I installed it and pulled the panel to the front of the clip the lanyard piece sheered off completely hindering the item useless. I wasn’t in possession of this item for more than 5 minutes. And I’m not hard on my gear ether. Even if I was items like these for their intended use should be able to withstand abuse.

This product changed the whole appeal and comfortability of my gear it’s rigid but give just enough play to form for recommended for all personnel who need a new vest strap or want something more!!

Look I love these things BUT I wish they had these in different sizes. I got these for my issued vest and that thing only holds plates. It can barely do that... so these are just a little short for me. I make it work but I'm not even the biggest guy I work with at either of my 2 jobs I could use this for. 5ft7 175lbs I'm not a small guy but I'm not as big as our 6ft3 300lbs guy who has the same vest as me and would never be able to use this product.The clips are nice when you can line them up. I do like them but I also wish the magnets were a little stronger so it was easier and more user friendly to put on in the heat of the moment.

To start off I'm 5'8" 180 lbs. So I'm by no means too large or too small. I have an ar500 testudo plate carrier. Doesn't even come close to fitting. I repositioned many times and it's still about 6" too short. I can make it work if I place the back tabs barely on the Velcro but it just pops loose with any movement. Will return asap.
