I use this for rawhide frame drums. My 20" drums are just a bit too big, with the rawhide on the outside of a 20" frame. I believe that a 20" drum with an article head would fit just fine. The zippered pocket is great to have. It isn't padded at all, but it meets my needs for bringing a drum with me and still having my hands free when we aren't drumming.

Using this for a homemade " Skottle" made from a Bayou Classic cast iron . bag easily fits the cast iron cook surface, and the side pocket holds the screw on legs, the scraper, and a few other odds and ends with room to spare. The bag is well made and carries the heavy cast iron easily.

Perfect rope bag for the right price. Definitely didn’t want to spend $100+ on one that does the same thing. I’ve only put two 40 foot ropes in it but I’m sure it could fit another one or two.

I purchased this rope bag to use for something other than what it was designed for. I had made a homemade "scottle" almost identical to what Tembo Tusk offers, but saved about $300. bag seems heavy duty and well made. I like that the inside has some sort of liner which may help if the cooking surface is stored slightly greasy. I can fit the cooking surface with burner attached along with 4 camping size propane bottles and hoses to attach to a larger propane tank. seems to be a great way to store everything together and throw it in the jeep for camping trips.

Love the bag! Color is great, has straps to keep rope in place and roomy enough to keep a jacket. Handy pocket for gloves too.
