I don’t normally review stuff but I’m going to make an exception. I have replaced the tailgate latch 3 times in my 2010 double cab and of the 3 this one feels the most solid. The first lasted less than a year and the other lasted about a year and a half. There is no play or give in the handle when lifting the latch. If your considering the cheaper options I would say it’s worth the little extra to go this route

Ordered this handle because the reviews said it had a metal handle. I went to open my tail gate and the handle snapped off. I had to upen up the camera hole so it can fit properly. Other than the camera issue looks like a nice fit and opens like the original handle.

I have purchased two prior to this one, this is very sturdy high-grade material with metal and plastic. I highly recommend it.

Very easy to install and perfect fit. My only concern is that it did not come with some sort of bracket for the camera.

Exc3llent quality materials. Had to return though as camera did not fit on my 2007, perhaps other years will work.

This isn't all metal, but the arms that break are metal.
