The perfect fit and it’s solid! Definitely worth the money, has a nice shine and goes with any color. It is way better than the original part because it’s metal or steel. It fits a 2005 Ford Ranger. Totally recommend it. It’s just a pain in the butt installing it taking it apart. But doable. Make sure you have the right tools and patience. Cheers from Colton CA

This is the second time I have had to replace the handle on my Ranger and I am happy with the upgrade to this version. The OEM handles just seem to become brittle in far to little time. The install was as easy as one could expect and if I don't report back that means it is still working as intended.

Be careful installing these it’s real easy to break the bolt off be very careful installing it. Careful of the plastic parts too that are already in your tailgate performance wise. It performs really well. I love that. It’s all metal beat the hell out of the plastic ones extra metal pay extra and get the metal.

The original latch was plastic and broke. The replacement was plastic and only lasted a matter of weeks. This one is metal and I hold high hopes for it. Much better.

I ordered a all metal one as an upgrade and as advertised,when it arrived it was made with plastic Was forced to use it anyway as I couldn’t get the tailgate open.Was not happy about it.
