This switch was relatively easy to install. I would suggest googling it on youtube. It fit perfectly and works as it should. My old switch had the rubber cover worn off so water got in and would make it so that the switch only worked sometimes at random. So nice to have this working 100% again.

Wouldn't normally use Amazon for vehicle repairs but I chose to be cheap and buy this in place of an OEM switch. This lists as working for the year, make and model of my car, however, once I had a chance to install this switch it became very clear it is the wrong one. The part is too small and does not fit in the switch slot on my tailgate. The wiring plug would in no way work with the one on my vehicle. I did make this switch work by way of splicing on the wiring on to the OEM switch. Don't waste your money on Amazon for vehicle repairs, use other sites.

I have a 2011 Nissan Pathfinder Silver Edition and it fit this perfectly. Looks good and performs like the original. I was a bit hesitate to buy this at a low price but I am happy with it so far. I would recommend this item.

Installed this in a 2007 Nissan Murano. The install was a bit rocky but that in not the parts fault - it was Nissan engineering. Once installed worked as expected.

Thanks to the internet this worked perfectly on my '12 Forester. Significantly cheaper than the OEM part.

Installed in 2010 subaru forester and fit perfectly. Harness isn't exact match for most models of cars but you can just splice wires into original and works perfectly. Great value for price, button very responsive but does feel a little on the less expensive side. Will update if any problems but great so far!
