The threaded end on these adapters is too short. They leak because they do not extend far enough into the end of the filter to keep water from leaking. I used more Teflon tape than usual in order to try to stop the leaking. Extra tape and extreme tightening helped, but tightening to that extent isn't good for the filter. Great idea, but needs to be revised to have a longer threaded end.

I currently use them for short runs of propane gas (~200PSI), and they work well. They fit well into the compatible hardware.
