I recently purchased the BTG Gear Tailwaves Grill , primarily to use on my boat, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its performance. Assembly was incredibly easy and straightforward, taking me very little time to set up. The size of the grill is ideal—compact enough to fit comfortably on a boat, but still spacious enough to handle a good amount of food for a small group.What really stood out to me was how evenly the grill heats. We used it to cook hot dogs, and they came out perfectly cooked with that nice, even sear you want from a grill. I imagine it would work just as well for burgers, steaks, or any other grill favorites. The heat distribution is really impressive, which can be tricky for a portable grill, but this one performs exceptionally well in that department.The boat rod mount is another excellent feature. It fits perfectly and keeps the grill stable, even when the boat is moving. There was no wobbling or shifting, which gave me peace of mind knowing the grill was secure.One of the things I love most about this grill is its versatility. The boat mount is easy to remove, which means it’s not just for marine use—you can take it off and bring the grill along to tailgating parties, camping trips, or even just backyard barbecues. This grill is HEAVY!We haven’t used it yet but it looks really sturdyI have to wait and see how well it will do after getting wet.Hopefully we won’t see any rust

I have written very few reviews, but this BBQ Grill exceeds all of my expectations. The build quality is excellent AND it comes with a fishing rod mount for my boat that is a far better mount than Magma. The mount alone is worth the price I paid for the grill. The quality of the grill is just as good if not better than Magma or Camco/Kuuma. It is a small and perfect grill for our boat.

My first impression of the grill out of the box was not very favorable. The stainless steel is a bit on the thin side, there are some rough edges to it, and it's a bit smaller than I anticipated. Despite these small issues, I do appreciate the functionality of it. I appreciate that it runs on propane, it cooks thoroughly with no cool spots - consistent temperature front to back. Definitely worth the purchase if you can give it a chance considering the small nuances I mentioned.

It works! We shall see how long it lasts. Used it twice now. It’s a nice little grill for your boat! Grease tray seems to work pretty good.Regulator works as it should.

Our HOA changed the times recently and we are no longer allowed to have grills on decks. That meant we had to get creative about what to do so we decided a tailgate grill for the driveway would be best.The size of this is perfect for storing and easy grab and go even now allowing is to take our on the road for boating and tailgating for the big games! Great quality and good price point. Very happy with this grill.
