Great probe! I didn’t try it in a heated enclosure yet to see if there is temperature related measuring error. However, on an open printer it’s super accurate, easy to install and configure.

I bought these for my 3d printer and they work perfectly. Hopefully they'll last a good while. Time will tell

oh my lord after literally years of messing with bltouch and absolutely despising the nightmare that is "getting bltouch and klipper to play nicely with each other," switching to an NPN sensor like this is such a frickin... relief. i cannot recommend enough ditching the plastic weenis and joining the ~hall effect club~

In testing, this switch does indeed change state at 4 mm.The indicator lights, but is not necessary.My target material was 4140 Steel.

Sensor can only switch at 45 hz. Falling edge on presence of metal is quick but rise time(20ms) is long.

I think it is okay, but I couldn't get it to work for my setup. Anet A8 printer with a PEI like/type sheet added to print bed.
