I have used these for the past 8 years as a rough framer, the quality is second to none! There is really nothing more to say about them, they may seem expensive, but they will outlast any other chalk box you can find long enough to save money in the long run.

Went from a basic chalk line to an Irwin 3:1 which was terrible. This is much, much better. Like the hook, like the lock, line holds chalk well, and very smooth.

I've had the chalkine for over a year now and still holding up despite being dropped numerous times on hard surfaces like concrete. The locking mechanism works great and the facts the clip has a place to hold it while its in my tool bags to prevent it from tangling is great.

I bought it mostly for lines on woodworking, so I should have bought the thinnest line - and probably will. Yes, it is expensive, but good. If I only use short snaps, it gets a little hard to turn the wheel, but I have to say, I have never, ever used another brand that gives as snappy sharp lines as this one. Don't overfill the tank, use the Tajima band chalk, and you WILL notice the difference. Is it worth the price? Well, if you are pro, you know all the sayings, so...yeah. Totally worth it.

Sure it's more than most but you get what you pay for especially with chalk lines. This string won't break in a month like other brands. Use the correct chalk and it'll be as smooth as it was new for years.

These are a great chalk box, nice thin lines and fast to reel up. Only four stars because they are a little over priced.

Will never use anything other than Tajima chalk boxes again. The line is the perfect width and snaps a crisp line every time.

Die Schlagschnur ist sehr gut und wertig verarbeitet. Durch die Übersetzung lässt sie sich auch sehr schnell wieder aufrollen.Einziges Manko ist, das die Beschreibung auf der Verpackung komplett auf japanisch ist. Hier muss man sich mit einem Übersetzer helfen, aber das sollte im Jahre 2024 kein Problem sein.
