I bought this through Amazon when none of our local suppliers had gallon-size jugs of bar and chain oil. This is of equal quality to anything else I've used. I want a gallon available, as a neighbor and I buck up over 10 cords of forest wood annually, often in logs up to 30" in diameter. Quality of bar and chain oil is especially important when running a 30-34" bar to cut through larger logs.

While I believe there are some quality differences between bar oils, since I'm not in a professional tree service industry, this oil works fine for my annual wood-cutting efforts for our small wood stove. Wear and tear on bars and chains is normal (I know people who use motor oil drained from their oil changes), this oil has a thick, 'sticky' viscosity that works and flows/lubricates well in warm and cold weather.

Seems like a good product for both of my chainsaws. Weirdly after I use it every time, it seems to drip on to the shelf in the garage below it even though I use a funnel and really try to wipe it down. I can't figure it out...

This is a good product for the money, though I have found it to be thinner than most bar oils. It works and is good for the price.

Was really surprised on how thin it was. This is the first time ordering and I'm used to a thicker oil. (I'm kinda new at this...)
