Let’s start with sizing I am 5’2†and 142lbs 36D bust, 28 waist, 39 hips and I ordered both a zipper front (Fishes) and a zipper back (toucan jungle). I ordered a SIZE 8 in both and the fit is PERFECT. I don’t just mean good. It’s perfect. I am on the busty side with implants (cancer reconstruction) so my breasts sit higher rather than lower like a woman in my age cohort, so it’s perfect for me. It is fully lined and fits nice and snug without bulges, and I get plenty of support throughout all parts of the suit.The fabric is BEAUTIFUL. Thick and silky and comfortable. Not at all transparent and will be excellent sun protection. I have worn both suits for hours and hours of lap swims, and even in a highly chlorinated hot tub on numerous occasions. There has been no fading whatsoever, and the suit has held its shape. I have full torso long sleeve suits from other makers and they are thin and not at all hearty, rarely lined, and fade really fast. These suits by Tame The Sun are of much better quality from fabric to construction, and worth way more than list price.Here’s are some helpful tips about whether a front zip or a back zip is right for you:Back zip is MUCH EASIER to take off while wet than a front zip. This seems counter intuitive, but in practice it’s true. When you unzip the back with a zipper cord, you release tension and you can pull the suit off your wet shoulders at the neckline forward and then remove from your torso. Shoulders and arms move better in a forward motion.Front zip is easier to get on a dry body because you don’t have to use a zipper cord to draw it closed. It’s really hard to get it off a wet suit and body because the nice and hearty lining sticks to your back and shoulders so you practically have to dislocate a shoulder while arching your back backward and your hips forward to get the suit off your shoulders and down your arms. It’s like tying your hands behind your back. Not a cool game for older folks like me.Who is this suit for? I think it will fit just about all women except for perhaps those on the tall side. And I say that only because the chest cups are a bit higher on these suits than most brands and I could see someone with a longer torso having some issues with this.It’s very flattering on my middle aged athletic curvy 5’2†145lb D cup body, and has rouching in the torso for extra disguise of the tummy area. The tummy control is really very good and this has a lot to do with the high quality lining and fabric.My only regret is that there are five prints available instead of 15. I could use more fun and funky prints in some darker palettes, back zipper. And I’d love the girl’s lemon print in a women’s 8. It would make those December lap swims more cheerful!

This swimsuit is a 10 across the board. I love the print, the fit, how comfortable it is and the full coverage bottoms. The swimsuit also kept me warm but doesn't make me overheat. The zipper quality is great and stayed zipped up the entire time. The only minor change I would suggest is having the zipper in the front like some of the other suits so it gives it alittle VaVaVoom lol. The fabric is nice and stretchy but doesn't create that whiteness you get on some suits when the fabric stretches. I wear a size 10 and ordered a size 10. I had gained alittle weight after my first wear of this swimsuit and I was still fine. The padding in the boob's is light but enough to keep the nips hidden and secure. You are able to move the pads around to your liking.

5’8 140lbs athletic build. Ordering instructions say to size up 2 sizes. I ordered a 10 and an 8 because I didn’t know which would work best. (I’m a size 6 in lululemon bottoms and a 4 in Old Navy and American eagle jeans if that helps you at all). The 10 was slightly big, it felt comfortable when I tried it on, but if it got wet it would have felt heavy. I went with the 8 because it was a tighter fit - bottoms are a little more “cheeky†than I prefer but it’s a really cute pattern and an otherwise modest swim suit, so I’m going to make it work. I wish I could attest to its durability and how it feels when swimming, but it’s only April in the northeast US. Also, I bought a matching suit for my 5 y/o daughter, love that they have matching patterns!

US 8 - 134lbs -5'2" - 34DD - Mommy bod of 2PROs - colors are vibrant, full booty coverage, quality made, soft fabric, my normal size is medium and US size 8 fits perfectly, zipper is okay and can hold open just a tiny bit, definitely ordering a matching piece for my 2yo, good elasticityCONs - zero chest support, removable pads are flimsy and needs constant readjustments, difficult to take offI will report back on sun protection once used in water. Otherwise I'm happy for this cute purchase.

This is such a great swimsuit. My 12 yo daughter has worn it for a year now and will be taking it to summer camp. It offers good coverage (not see through) for those girls that like not having to reapply sunscreen on their arms and torso every 80 minutes. The design is cute, it washes well and it's true to size.

I wear a 34dd, and was very unhappy to receive this item not having a shelf bra like the description said it would. What it does have is pockets to insert padding, which offers zero support. The zipper does not come down low enough, I heard seems popping when I tried to put on the swimsuit. But, the print is super cute. There is fabric behind the zipper, so you can't be sexy and unzip the zipper some. I am 5'2 and 130 pounds. The size 4 fit everywhere except for the bust. The shirring around the belly is very flattering. I was not disappointed with the material quality. The bottom has full booty coverage.

Love the look and pattern of this suit SO much but after my daughter wore it just once, we noticed discoloration and wearing of the material. So sad as this was a $42 suit.

I just got this Swimsuit and when I tried it on I liked it so much I had to write a review already. It fits like a glove. I'm 5'2" 120lbs. I just love the style of this suit with the front zipper, and the long sleeves. Not to mention the ruched material on the tummy, to hide my imperfections. I tend to burn on my chest and shoulders, so I'm looking forward to hitting the beach in this suit looking fine and feeing comfortable! The patterns are unique, it would so be nice if it came in a solid. I would buy another.

Very comfortable. Great for SUP. Looks cute. The chest seam is a little high, so the molded cups don't line up with breasts at all. However, removing the cups solves that problem.

This is a really nice swimsuit and I love that it protects against the sun. It looks great and feels very comfortable. I found that it ran a bit on the large size -- meant for a slightly taller person than me. I am 5.2 and ordered an 8. Had first ordered a 10. I might even be well off with a 6 but the 8 is good enough. When this one wears out I will certainly buy another from this brand.
