This is a Pulley Unit Set for Various Models.
It's from Tamiya for very experienced model builders.
FEATURES:
Pulley set is designed to attach to a chosen model kit such as a
jumping dophin, an elevator, a moving dog, alligator, or Revolving
bird cage.
Contains white, black, and gray plastic parts attached to sprues.
Other parts include an electric motor, belt guides, skinny belts,
circular pulleys, rivets, a base, and motor holder.
Battery operated.
Small phillips screws for solid construction.
Structure of pulley is kept simple for maintenance purposes like
replacing the belt, if needed.
Pulley rotates freely, allowing a dog to wag his tail, an alligator
to open his mouth, or a dolphin to "jump" into the water, among
other chosen motions.
Designed for fairly small and simple models.
Reverse rotation of pulley is possible.
Pictorial instructions included.

I really like these Tamiya motorized kits and have built/collected most of them.They're simple to put together, less than half an hour, and can be used to motorize small projects. They might even be educational for kids. I don't know what the recommended age is, but I was a nerdy kid and would have loved something like this, even at a very young age (I took my mom's vacuum cleaner apart when I was five).I control mine with an arduino and are just plain fun to experiment with. My only complaint with this kit is that it could use a couple more wheel mounts to expand what can be made.

What I learned from this was sometimes you don't get what you pay for. I broke this the second time I used it. Just weak plastic parts. So learn from me, save your money.

Really tiny.Only 4-1/2" long.If used for classroom demonstration, be sure to use a document camera and lcd projector. Even front row students won't be able to see anything.Also, you have to crank pretty fast to get any voltage out of the motor/generator. I had to attach a battery powered drill to the larger pulley axle to get enough speed to light a 2v led or to show on a mV meter.

Motor requires one to solder your own wires. If they were flying leads I would have finished the project without breaking out the soldering station. Pay attention to the orientation of the bushings. Don't force. If they don't seem to fit, flip it around. Lots of very small parts. A good start for a lot of more imaginative projects.

小学校1年生と組み立てました。ネジの種類がいくつかあるのですが、全て1つの袋にごちゃごちゃに入っています。間違ったネジを使うとうまく回りません。似ているネジが多いので、注意が必要です。

　組立ては簡単ですがビスの裏側にナットを取り付けるのは小さな子には難しいかもしれない。自分はピンセットでナットを摘み、ビスの上に水平に置いたらピンセットの先で回しながら固定しています。　キットには電池ボックスもスイッチも付属していません。タミヤの電池ボックスキットがお薦めです。タミヤの別売プレートを使用すれば電池ボックスが取り付けられます。付属のプレートは使用せず（使っても取り付け可能）別売のプレートを使った方がよいです。細いゴムベルトなので軽い負荷しか掛けられません。２台作ったので組み合わせて使いたいと思っています。
