I really have a hard time finding these with the cardboard applicator. I prefer these, as the plastic applicator is shorter and thicker. I do not get the same coverage as these. I have a large flow and I really think these are the best quality.

Since the new smaller version of tampons have been introduced, these are more like the traditional super tampons. I hate the new compact tampons. I feel they do not provide the coverage I need. I am not a fan of a cardboard applicator but these provide a much better coverage than the new ones. I miss my Kotex super of the past. This is the closest to that coverage.

These are the kind I always buy because they are flushable cardboard. They are open at the tip of the applicator, not closed cardboard, which can be uncomfortable to insert for younger women.
