Tamper-evident or “voidable” polyesters are designed to leave behind evidence in the form of words or distinct patterns when they are tampered with or if removed from a substrate. Permanent bonds are normally achieved within 72 hours at normal room temperatures. Legibility of the tamper evident pattern may differ depending on substrate surface energy, dwell time, exposure temperature, and application conditions. Thorough testing at actual application conditions is recommended to insure success. Tamper-evident applications should not be confused with tamper-proof applications. It can be very difficult or complicated, and therefore expensive, to make an article tamper-proof. The most cost-effective method is to make the article tamper-evident.

I'm tired of having my vehicles tampered with when taking it in for inspection or tire rotation. I do the majority of maintenance on my vehicles. It is sad that I have to resort to putting tamper seals on parts. It is worth the peace of mind.

These security strips are plenty long enough to use on a variety of items. They work very well if given a chance for the adhesive to set. If you try to take them off before that they will come off easily and not leave evidence of tampering. Once set there will be no doubt. I would recommend.

I've found that these sometimes work and sometimes don't work.I wouldn't recommend them as your only layer of security.The surface must be very clean and you must press the sticker firmly onto the surface.

I felt that the seals adhered well and was well made. I had gotten these for some juice drinks I had made for myself and was overall pleased.

I'm sure there are other common uses for these, but, for me, there are a great travel accessory. When I travel, I often have medicines and electronics in my luggage, and several times I've found things apparently missing after a trip, even with no 'We inspected your bag' card found.These little guys, however, coupled with clear containers (glass bottles, and plastic boxes) have greatly reduced the issues I've had; they may not STOP anyone from rummaging thru my stuff, but they make it clear that it's been done, and force them to have to be able to justify what, exactly they were doing, and make it far less likely that they think they can abscond with a few pills or devices and think they will get away with it. (I also have hidden, motion triggered cameras, just in case, but the seals themselves do the majority of the work.)The biggest thing to keep in mind, is that they need some time for the adhesive to cure; so put them on at least a day in advance, and they are pretty reliable. They CAN be defeated with the proper use of solvents, but that's not something someone can usually do in a hurry, so they've worked well for me.
