When I realized I didn’t have a drill that could go through a 6 inch beam, I found myself confused on what to do for my playground. I was also concerned about water seeping through the top and rotting out the center of the beam. So I decided to do this under-mount style swingset hardware instead. It was half the price of what I almost bought at the local hardware store and far easier to install!

Easy to install, comes with all you need, can even be mounted in concrete. I do recommend some marine grease for the squeak. Overall great quality and looks nice on the a-frame I built my kids. And it's great for even holding adults!
