Shows you are ordering a 12x5 but what you get is really a 13x5. I wasn't trying to stretch it out just hanging on the fence it is much longer than the said 12 ft long. I guess it's 12ft + 6" on each side for the eyelets for tie down. It is exactly 5' tall and still works great. Just was looking for a prefect fit seeing I was needing exactly 12" long. For the price I didn't try to exchange it I just let it wrap around the corner a the extra length. Just would look a lot nicer if it fit right.

Purchased and set up over six months ago and still is holding up, looks like new. Weather here is brutal desert sun most of the year with one season of nasty windstorms. Expensive in my opinion but does what it claims.

We have ordered several sizes separate occasions. Found that smaller is better because heavy wind can tear the long ones even if you strap it properly. They have been up for several months, almost a year on some and one a year, and the shorter ones have lasted so far.

Our back property line is almost 225 feet long. We are up against a fairly busy road and had open, ornamental fence across the entire property line. We were considering saving up for arborvitae trees or vinyl fencing, but it was hard to justify $10K plus in a place that already had a fence. We held off on doing the privacy shades because we feared they'd look tacky, but I'm very impressed with how nice they look. We enjoy our back yard so much more now! It's so nice to be able to enjoy your back yard without traffic staring at your every day. For less than $400 we were able to do our entire fence line. Despite the relatively low cost, this is probably one of the best upgrades we've ever done to our house. It completely changed the feel of our property. We did have to buy some longer zip ties to use in a few places where we needed to go around the entire fence post. We took our time and made sure the shades were pulled tight before zipping each grommet down. Pulling the shades tight definitely makes them look nicer and also keeps the wind from getting a hold of them. We have a fairly strong wind that blows against the fence line regularly so we chose to put the shades on the outside of the fence so that the fence supports the shades when the wind blows.Update: the item itself is great, but if you live in a windy area do yourself a favor and buy stainless steel zip ties (or at least much heavier duty plastic ones). The plastic zip ties they include with these are simply not up to the job and we’ve had to replace them all. The problem is that once one breaks and the wind starts to get a hold of the shade it will begin to easily break more and more ties and you’ll be out there in a wind storm trying to tie them down. After that happened one time I bought the stainless ones (which are surprisingly cheap here on Amazon) and haven’t had a single problem since. Do the job once and skip the plastic ones

Bought this to enclose my back porch for the winter. This screen is thick enough to block the wind and still be able to see out. I will replace with a thinner screen come spring and back with this one next winter.

I wrapped this around my koi shelter... it had privacy pvc lattice on it but i still got too much algae growth... This screen still let's some light thru, so it's not gloomy, but seems to stop the algae from growing. Also adds wind protection... keeps debris from the cedars around me from ending up in my pond.Looks nice and is good quality. Definitely recommend.

We purchased these to use as a sunscreen over outdoor dog kennels. They didn’t last long at all. Very thin and tear very easily. For that reason we will bot purchase again as we need something that can handle a little bit of wind. We dis likw the size of the product, and concept. We just wish it was a bit more durable.
