After reviewing multiple outdoor footrests from many manufacturers & retailers, I chose these. I didn't like the look of the boxy wicker ones, except that they did have storage which I did not need. These were perfect for my covered porch. The cushion is comfortable for resting your feet or sitting for a short time. Assembly was quick & easy. The provided screws went in easily. Don't fully tighten until you get all 8 started in both sides. I did use an Hex socket & extension for better leverage. A T-25 Torx screwdriver will work also. Overall I'm happy with the price & quality of these. I may put a couple strips of Velcro under the cushions to keep them from sliding.

These ottomans are really nice. Easy to assemble even without the directions, took little effort. So far they seem sturdy although I haven't tested how much weight it will stand up to if someone sits on it.I have a couple of issues with it, pros and cons: I like the thick pillow BUT I don't like that the pillow does not have any ties to hold it into place. In my area I get tornado strength dust devils and strong desert winds so of course the pillow isn't going to stay in place. I have to take the pillow off and replace it every time I go outside and use my patio set. It's a pain so I bought some binding tape and sewed it into the seams. Still, the cushion is not a tight fit within the sides of the ottoman so it slides easily no matter how tight I secure it. Not a deal breaker but it is annoying. Another small annoyance is that the bottom of the legs are smooth so the ottoman slides if anyone puts their foot on the edge. I do that frequently instead of resting my feet on top. The ottoman slides forward whether being on cement or on the carpet. I will have to put something on the bottom of the legs to prevent sliding.Overall, I got them on a pretty good deal and I'm very happy. They are quite attractive and compliment my other wicker patio pieces. The red cushions are a bright red and easy to match when being other pieces and pillows. These ottomans are large too! Great size for really stretching out but even better if someone chooses to sit on them.One thing that I did that really helped them look even better was that I had some marine varnish and went over the acacia sides a few times. The acacia wood was not finished originally. Although it looked nice and probably would patina nicely, I wanted them to have a finished, nicer appearance. I also wanted to protect the wood from the harsh weather conditions where I live like direct desert sun and monsoon rains. Marine varnish (like what is used on boat railing) is a good UV protectant. It brought out the beautiful wood markings and will protect it for a long while.I recommend these ottomans.

These ottomans were a good purchase for me. I already own patio furniture I really like. I just needed ottomans to finish my set so that we could relax more & put up our feet. These ones are working out great. They were easy to put together and are holding up well. The cushions are comfortable and my family is enjoying having a nice ottoman to rest their feet on. I would buy these again. Also packed well for shipping and arrived in good condition.

I love these ottomons. They're beautiful, comfortable, and well made. They're much wider than most of the competition which adds to the comfort level. They double as seats or tables and match my patio set quite well. My only complaint is that the cushion could be a drop wider so they wedge between the arms. Add is they move around easily but that doesn't cause any problems

I needed a couple of foot stools for some chairs I have out on the pool deck. They seem to fit the bill and match the chairs, and together it was cheaper than buying a new seating set this year. I wasn’t looking for anything expensive because I live in an area that is very hot and humid in the summer and most things don’t last more than a year or two. The price point was excellent and the reviews weren’t bad. I bought the beige which match the seat cushions on my other chairs and sprayed them with a fade resistant spray. The footstools were very easy to put together…it didn’t take very long mainly just patience to get everything screwed in tight. As the directions say, don’t tighten any of the bolts until you have them all in, then tighten. I didn’t have any wobble with them and I like them so far. I gave four stars because the cushions really need to have ties on them. They fit nicely on the stools but if the wind starts to blow the cushions may fly off to a neighbors house. I purchased covers for the stools for rainy days, and I’ll probably use them if there’s even a hint of wind. Using covers will help to protect the wood on the handles from sun damage. I think slapping a coat of polyurethane on the wood handles would be good to protect them from drying out during the hot summer months. Overall, I’m pleased with them so I’m ordering another set for the other two chairs. I’ll figure out a way to put some ties on the cushions!

I mean it. I have looked and looked on this site and several others (home goods type sites). We didn't want ottomans for storage; we didn't want expensive ones either. We wanted ottomans for putting our feet up and preferred something with wood. The wood on these match fairly well with our teak chairs. And they aren't small in area. They're wide and sturdy. Sturdy enough to sit on by themselves. We love these.

I can’t say enough good about these stools..They are very well made, and go perfectly with my outdoor furniture. They are really easy to assemble, and super sturdy. It was a great purchase.
