I highly recommend this nice, desk storage shelf! It was delivered on time and in perfect condition, no scratches or dents. All predrilled holes were precise and fit just as pictured. Packed well and delivered without any issues. Assembly was literally less than 30 minutes and these pieces are durable and sturdy which is wonderful for storing heavier items like books. Fits perfectly on my desk and allows for more space to store my study materials and some decor items. I am excited to study more now and spend time using my study area. First off, I am extremely handy. I am building an entire built in office, Murphy bed, hidden bookcase, from scratch. I have assembled dozens of IKEA pieces for my kids. As soon as I opened the hardware bag I was like "what the heck are these things?". In theory they are supposed to work like the IKEA ones we all know, but the plastic in these is extra on the base of the screw, and IT WILL NOT SCREW INTO THE HOLE. Any but of force and the entire wood breaks away of the sides, see photos. You try to jam it into the connection point and it will not provide a tight seal.This hardware and wood piece is utter trash. For $100, this is literally just throwing money in the trash bin because that's exactly where this is going. Don't buy. Burn a $100 bill and save yourself the time and it will be more satisfying. What a waste.

Make sure you have a rubber hammer and a small electric drill, they’ll make the assembly so much easier. It turned out perfect and fits my desk like it was made for it.

Nice looking and easy to assemble. There was a tiny hole drilled in the finished side of one board but hardly noticeable. Quality control might have picked this up.

I like the look of it but oh my lord! The material is so weak! It will chip and crack as you build it! One hole cracked so bad that a chunk of wood came off and I wasn't even able to add the screw.

My husband wrestled with this piece for an hour and was still not able to get the screws to actually stabilize the hutch. Have to be very careful moving it around and using it
