Needed rim tape. For my tubeless Mt Bike. Someone recommended this. Worked perfect. Enough product to do several sets. For less the than price to do one set.You do need to press on tape. After applying. I used the handle of a screwdriver. To make sure the tape is adhered very well to the rim. It’s been a couple of months. Used orange seal sealant. Still holding air well.

If you are looking at this listing you either already know what this stuff is or you are confused why this stuff keeps popping up when you look for electrical tape. Kapton is fantastic: it's got megohms of resistance, it peals off perfectly clean, lasts forever, resists UV damage, has about a bajillion degrees temperature range, and, considering it's utility, I'd say it's dirt cheapLove the stuff, pick up a roll of this miracle and be converted to the kapton cult.

I had a GPU that needed a reflow... sure you can oven bake it like a cave man, or use a heat gun like a pro, but you always want to keep things safe and neat and work where you want to work at. The tape came on and off with no issues and protected the rest of the GPU from an unwanted or un-needed heat from the heat gun. No residue was left after removal and I have to recommend this to anyone that is needing to either de-solder or apply heat to components of electrical basis/matter.

We recently build a small concrete bridge for the FDOT. They designed the railings as heavy treated timber with stainless connector gussets but wanted to save some money on the bolts, so they went galvanized. Actually it saved them around $20,000 on the difference between 1'' diameter stainless bolts and galvanized. Easy to do with a 1'' x 15'' SS timber bolt costing $160 each.Their spec was to use 2 mil polyimide tape to separate any galvanize from stainless to prevent galvanic corrosion.

This is the good stuff. I tried the blue tint and the clear it is not as tacky as this.Good heat resistance, glue sticks to the tape not to the other surface.Very little stretch, use a sharp edge to cut.Excellent product.

I am assembling battery packs (LiPO SPIM08HP) to replace the constantly failing Ryobi batteries (since 2016, 2 of the 4 40 Volt battery's have failed, even when I recovered them, they only lasted about one additional year). I have used Kapton tape in manufacturing for many years and am glad to see it is available retail. As stated, the tape does NOT leave residue when removed, provides excellent electrolytic resistance and stands up to soldering better than any other tape.Only con, price.

i taped up 2 roval cl50 rims with vittoria corsa pro tires, 30mm. Removed Roval tape because of valve leaks. Retaped with 1in tape master tape. wrapped 2x. becareful to work tape slowly around rim to prevent tape from folding over. punctured tape with tubeless valve stem and finger tightened valve to rim. Be sure to ride a few times to let sealant get into the cotton casing. It will lose air for a few days. Mine stopped leaking air after 3 days of riding. i checked for air seapage by spraying soapy water onto sidewall. best cost effective alternative to name brand tubeless tape. no leaks after 200 miles.
