Artists be aware that this canvas is very thin; and, as a result, it is hard to keep flat when primed. Also, the primer can leak through the canvas fibers and cause the canvas to stick to any backing you may have on the stretchers. This canvas may be good for small paintings, but I can't imagine using it for a large painting.

I just purchased this canvas about 2 weeks ago and have used it on a couple of recent paintings. For the money this is one of the best canvases I have used with a solid weave and good strength. I find it ideal for larger stretcher frames to provide a great surface without being too stressful on the frame as some tighter weaves can be once gessoed.

The canvas came quickly it is thinner than I thought it would be but nothing a good base coat could not fix prime then base .its strong and light weight
