I have a 2023 Tesla and I needed more bass. The Tesla low voltage system is 16vdc unlike the masses at 12vdc. The amp can go up to 17vdc. This amp is amazing on my 1 JL 10w3v3. Gain is minimum and no boost and it still pounds. Bought the 1200 for my other Tesla.

Great amp. Great price. compact. The ground and power terminals could be better, but it's hard to complain at this price point.

Amp does not function at 1ohm. It gets stuck in a loop (protection mode Maybe). The amp powers on then the clip light comes on then the amp immediately shuts off and the process repeats endlessly. No music is being played or can be played through the amp at that time. The amp does function and output at 2ohms with no issues. But i bought this amp for it's compact power at 1ohm. Something is wrong with the gain as well. This amp supports up to 6v preout in. My head unit is supplying 4v preout to the amp, yet i have to max the gain in order to get any real output from the amp. With the gain at max and my headunit volume at almost full tilt the clip light never comes on. It's almost as if the amp could use more gain. I've never had a new in box amp act in this way. Must be a quality control issue. It should be as simple as returning it, but like an idiot i mounted it adding a mounting hole center top before testing it. Always test your equipment before mounting! These amps make rated power at 1 and 2 ohms, and are very compact. When quality control is done correctly these amps should function fine.
