I've tied someone's front bumper on after a crash so they didn't have to get towed. I've tied up branches in my hedge. I strapped towels to an extension ladder so I wouldn't scratch my expensive quonset hut. I tied up a few 4k-test ratchet tie downs so they'd be tidy in the back of my truck. I strung a row of floating lights in my mothers pool twice with the same strand six months apart. I secured a tarp over a missing section of roof. I tied one end to a bull pin to pry from 4ft away while I installed bolts in the aforementioned quonset hut. Gosh.. I can't remember all the places I've used this stuff. However, these are just a handful of the reasons that I keep ten feet of it in my pocket at all times.I've only gone through a third of the roll and I wouldn't want to be without it on the road, on the job, or even around the house. It is better than twine, but just as compact. It is more compact than paracord and nearly as strong for my purposes. The slight stiffness makes it easy to thread through small spaces and it doesn't fray. It is waterproof and abrasion resistant. The size 36 I bought leaves me with copious amounts to use in everyday tasks and projects.This is my first review that was more of a list than an outright narrative, but I thought this was more to the point. This is a solid 5-star item.

This is some of the best line to use for bushcraft. Knots will not work their way out. The holding power is great. Just enough sticky to get the job done while not leaving anything on your hands or in your pack. Strong enough for most any camping or fishing job.

I've used this for a variety of purposes - trot lines, hanging tarps, bundling kindling just to name a few - and it's turned out to be a great performer. I was a Paracord junkie before I found out about tarred bank line, and I wish I'd found out about it years ago because for many general purposes it's less expensive and just as versatile.

Was surprised how large the roll actually was. Have used this quite a bit, and still have a lot left. Try to reuse when I can, haven't had any break yet. Holds knots, and binds against itself and other cordage well making secure connections.

I don't know about fishing but if you need bank line to feed your "WOODCRAFT" or "WOODSMANSHIP" addiction because of camping videos you've seen on youtube, this will do the trick! I use this to secure tarps to a ridgeline using a prussic knot and tying off tent stakes.Good stuff and I will buy it again!P.S.- Some folks say they use this for BUSHcraft but unless you are in Australia, Africa or I'll even give you Alaskan BUSH country...it is WOODcraft that you are doing! ðŸ˜Peace,Austin

Not a ton to say other than it has done what I've needed it to do. I'm definitely not an expert but it seems good quality and a good thickness for a wide range of tasks. I'm mostly binding random things together but that kind of goes without saying given that's its purpose...

This has augmented my paracord. Bankline is much less expensive, considerably more cord, and almost as strong as 550 paracord. For lashing things together Bankline is superior to paracord. Also, the cost of paracord many folks do not want to cut it, Bankline to the rescue. Bankline hold knots much better than paracord, whereas paracord knots can work loose. Yes, I do use paracord, however for most of my activities Bankline to the rescue.

Little more expensive but it is 100% nylon. Some of the other companies have nylon mixed with polyester. I like that it's pure nylon. Not saying the other products perform any differently or aren't good I just prefer it to not be mixed with other materials. I trust coming from cmi that I am getting a good quality product. My main purpose of use is for Bushcraft. I give the product an easy 5 stars and highly recommend to anyone.

C'est bel et bien la corde qu'on voit de nombreux bushcrafter utiliser à la place de la paracord. Il est vrai qu'elle prend moins de place et est très résistante mais elle a aussi tendance à dégager une odeur assez désagréable. Quoi qu'il en soit, elle est très pratique et très solide.

Good quality cord. No problem at all buying from the US. Better value than the smaller rolls you get from UK suppliers.
