I really enjoy this bag. It was made specifically for the Tascam Mixcast 4 Podcast Station. I like that the name Tascam is embroidered in the front of the bag.The outside of the bag is made out of a thick canvas material. The inside is lined with a cushion/felt like computer bag fabric. The mixer fits perfectly inside with no space to jiggle around. The bottom part of the bag has an extra cushion strip which is held there with a strip of Velcro. The bottom corners are reinforced with thick padding which keeps the mixer from getting damaged via an accidental drop or bump. The top corners have smaller leather pads. I would have liked thick padding on all four corners of the bag. I would have also liked at least one more Velcro padding strip to place at the top of the bag.The handles and shoulder strap are sturdy and thick. The shoulder strap clasps are metallic and look durable.The bag has one pocket. The pocket is zippered but doesn't open very wide. It can fit a small laptop computer, tablet or another notebook. This is the pocket I use for the charger and USB data cable. I would have liked a smaller pocket somewhere specifically for chargers and wires.This bag is definitely not waterproof. I haven't gotten it wet but it looks like it would just soak up moisture.I have been using this bag for a couple Of weeks and I can safely say that I really enjoy it.

It is nice to have a bag that can carry and hold the mixcast. But the top is too flimsy....and the bag naturally falls to the top side, if it is placed down with the handles facing up. I felt that the knobs would be damaged if I left things the way they are.......if it were to fall over or something was placed on top of it. I ended you buying the hard plastic cover, for about $100, to address these concerns. After putting that on, you dont have to fear it falling on the knob side, or something being placed on the knob side when it is laying down, knob side up. In short, it will carry the mixcast but not protect it.

I needed a travel bag for my Mixcast 4 for a trip recently and bought the Tascam Carry Bag for the Mixcast for. It is well padded and I had no concerns for the Mixcast being damaged or jostled around in transit. There is also a front zippered pouch for the power cable and other usb cables. I only wish it had been slightly cheaper, but a great value of the money if you are looking for something to keep your Mixcast safe and secure.

J'avais des attentes plus haute concernant cette sacoche. Là , elle remplit tout à fait sa fonction, c'est vrai, mais vraiment sans plus. Je dis pas qu'elle est mauvaise, mais grossomodo, c'est une sacoche à pc portable de base, et c'est chère payé pour ce que c'est. Ici, on paye clairement le logo.Si je l'avais vue en vrai avant de l'acheter, alors je ne l'aurais pas prise.
