I've used the 1/2 and 3/4 unpainted for sheepshead and taug. I couldn't find anything wrong with it, hooks are not Japanese sharp but strong and sharp enough, head shape is good, hook size is good for any sheepshead/taug that's worth catching. My set up is a medium power inshore rod with 15 pound braid and 20-25 lb leader, drag is set tight enough to pull 8lb sheepsheads away from structure. If that's similar to what you use, these hooks will hold up just fine. Affordably priced piece of gear that gets the job done.

they are plain lead color, so i did paint them. they have a sturdy hook and kept the bait oriented correctly

Many different sizes to choose from, I like that they are unpainted so I can custom paint how I want. Quality is good and hooks are sharp.
