I have used TaxRight now for a few years to do the 1099-NECs, 1099-Misc, and 1096. It is easy to use and remembers my data from the prior year, which saves me time. Now that it also has the option to file directly to the IRS and the recipients, it saves me even more time and hassle. Printing out the forms, separating the 3 forms per sheet, addressing envelopes, and going to the postoffice was so time consuming! And the cost to have TaxRight file is minimal compared to the time it saves, plus I now don't have to buy the forms, envelopes and stamps. I think I'm actually coming out ahead.

I have been using Tax Right for 8+ years. It is easy to use and carries over info from last year to this year with no problem.

Software was easy to install and very intuitive except for importing data. I tried to import using the form template I was going to print. All the names bombed on me because they were companies and the template did not allow for the preceding name cells to be blank. I tried again using the recipient template and they all imported except one that was too many characters.The template is in Excel and since my original document was in Excel it made it very easy to populate the template and the program. One the recipient is in the program you go to the form you need to fill out and put in the remaining information and print.The one issue I had and it could be a printer issue is that I could not print a lot of recipients at one time. I did not have a lot of 1099s to print and by breaking it down in lots of 14 or less it was fine. When I tried to print all 36 at once it did not print all of them. the program does make it easy to select which ones you want to print if you make a mistake or have a problem so that you do not need to preprint all of them.

I've been using this company's software for years. It is easy to use and easy to install. Because it allows you to print on plain paper, it saves money as well.

The print alignment function did not work properly on the pre-printed W-1099 forms.

I have used this software since 2016. The program is easy to use. The price is very good compared to the other packages available.

I tried the 2021 SW to print 1099NEC's. The 3-up alignment was awful, so I expected that the form had changed. OK, so, I bought the 2022 SW ($$$). Guess what? The 3-up alignment was still awful. If you could align any one of the 3 entries (pick any one on the preprinted forms), the other 2 were overwriting some part of preprinted form text. It was standard TFP 2022 1099NEC form paper!!! While I could force only 2 of the 3-up separable forms to be readable while wasting a 3rd on each page, I had enough paper to send out some tolerable "B" forms. But when it came to the red non-separable forms for the IRS, well, they got a crapload of poorly printed forms!!! TFP was never NASA SW, but they need to fire some systems staff for this year's stuff.
