Have purchased several tan ones previously. Used daily in pizza stores. Each scale typically lasts a couple years. Received two black ones this order rather than tan. One quit working shortly after receipt. Amazon provided prompt RA and replacement.

I had a taylor scale that lasted 5 years read at least 10 lbs. I thought I picked the "buy it again" option and didn't learn it was a 2 lbs max scale until I tried to use it and put my normal flour in the bowl and read "EEEEE". My fault I am sure, but dang diddlidly dog doo doo! Now I gotta buy another one, this time making sure it says 10 lbs. Otherwise I would have given this a 5 star rating.

I WAS EXPECTING THE SCALE IN THE PICTURE, THE ONE THEY SENT ME IS PLASTIC AND LOOKS LIKE THE CHEAPER VERSION OF THE TAYLOR SCALES FOR $20 LESS.

Failure after just a few uses. Taylor says tough luckI didn't realize that this was a portion scale when I first purchased. I had no immediate use for it so it sat idle for about a year. When an old mechanical scale failed I pulled this Taylor digital scale from storage and used it for portioning dough. After about 6 months of very light usage it failed
