This is a solid and well made outdoor electrical box cover. It came with everything I need to cover my outlet. It has plates for 2 outlets, a switch and for GFI which is what I used. Will work well for in use and remains protected. I have it for a pool filter. It can also be locked so can be safe from unwanted access. I well made product with multi features and a reasonable price point.

These are great covers, and I love that they can be locked. But be sure to check the screw mounts on your plug. These will work w/ a center screw, but if you’ve got top & bottom, they don’t, … even w/ the plastic plate adapter.

I bought this for an outdoor receptacle in a covered location.Let's start with the good: Reasonable price, adequate build quality (thin aluminum casting but seems reasonable if nobody is going to kick it), face plates for duplex, decora, and single receptacles. The finish is evenly painted.The not so good: - If used with a 90° plug / cord, there's no notch for the cord to hang out. At minimum the casting should have included a break-away for this. Instead, I had to Dremel out a notch. - Only two screw holes for mounting (using the same screws that secure the receptacle to the box). There are 4 molded-in indents that can be drilled out for affixing to a box extension. - Kind of lame riveted-on padlock loop. The rivet get covered by the closed lid so it's not really a drill concern, but the rivet is aluminum so can be easily defeated with a screwdriver.But for around-the-house use the only real detractor was the first item relating to cord management. Otherwise I am happy with the cover.

Installation was super easy, and the unit looks great and is well made.IMPORTANT: I initially thought that when plugs were plugged in (the "in use" configuration) the cover could not be closed completely, and that the cover then could not be latched,The instructions are not clear on this point, and the design is a little sneaky-- the latch key (where you would put a padlock through) ROTATES 180 degrees outward. Once the key is rotated, the cover will close completely with plugs in place, and the cover can be latched as well.

I was having a problem with my sprinkler hitting my old outlet cover and tripping the breaker. This took care of the problem. Very easy to install.

These are my favorite. They are metallic so way more durable and they are low profile so not big and bulky. Even with cord coming out of it it's still low profile.Well it's 2 years later and I need more, 10 more to be exact. I noticed the price has gone up to $15 and change so a quick Google search and I found them for $12 with free shipping. I remember paying $9 originally but cost of everything is going up. I'm still happy with the product and I'm sticking to it. Plastic just isn't as durable.

On a fait l'erreur d'acheter des couvercles en plastique il y a quelques années et ils ont tous fini par craquer et briser, probablement à cause de l'usure aux rayons UV. Cette fois-ci on décidé de payer un peu plus cher et d'avoir la sainte paix. Ils sont tellement solides, rien n'en viendra à bout!Ces couvercles de métal offrent un autre avantage très important : le diamètre du trou est assez gros pour y installer des petits cadenas ABUS (modèle en brass). Avec les problèmes d'itinérance, les gens venaient recharger leurs cellulaires et dormir à côté de nos prises. Car oui, plusieurs itinérants ont des cellulaires maintenant. Allez comprendre!

Arrived on time and well packaged. Made of metal not plastic some others of similar design. Easy to install, easy to use and protects against anyone else at the trailer park from using my hydro while I'm not there. What else can I ask for. Definitely would receive to anyone
