Bought this after looking at items and doing review research. I was wow’d by the amount of positive reviews left for this… till I tried this on the day it arrived. The ice was melted in my bedroom (about 71 degrees) within 2 hours. What are these other people leaving reviews talking about? Lol. Im sending it back.

I kept borrowing my mother's ice bucket. It was so old it was a pain to open and close! Not to mention hauling it back and forth!This one is awesome! It is easy open, holds a ton of ice, and looks great doing it!

My ice bucket arrived yesterday and I put it to the test last night. While it does come with nice little ice-sized tongs, and I like that the inner plastic liner can be removed, overall I've got to say I'm not impressed. The seller describes it as 'double insulated'. There is no additional insulating material. All it is is a plastic bowl that exactly fits the interior dimensions of the stainless steel bucket. There isn't even an air gap between that could be considered insulating. The lid is just a piece of stainless steel. I tested it indoors at probably around 75F degrees and the ice began showing significant melting within an hour. I can't imagine how quickly this would happen had it been outside on a hot summer day, even in the shade.
