This was a black Friday buy and I would recommend it to anyone. The screen is very crisp, the remote is easy to use and fits well, the apps are quality and easy to navigate. This is an overall great TV. Make sure you review your wall or counter size with the legs. Great value

This is a big TV! It’s a little tricky to get out of the box by yourself, so I recommend having someone help you. Easy to set up on the provided stand. Relatively easy to set up with your cable and streaming services. Picture and sound quality is excellent.

We replaced an older Samsung TV in our family room with this one. One thing we did not like in that older Samsung TV was that on bright sunny days the brightness and contrast were less than ideal for viewing in the space. This new TCL model solved that problem big-time! Beautiful picture quality, and no issues in brighter room settings. Highly recommended value for the price.

Im 49 and love movies/shows/games. For movies, shows, and documentaries you’re going to get a substantial amount of clarity. You will see faded movement at times where the images blurr during movement but not even close enough to create a bother. The picture clarity for modern movies is immersive and mesmerizing. I really felt like I was part of the play. Good home theatre experience. Im sure sports are the exact same.GAMERS- DO NOT BUY THIS TV. I speak adamantly about this particular situation. There are a lot of unfixable lag issues with the X SERIES XBOX Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and COD World controller movement lag while aiming. Im no intro to electronics and settings. It is unfixable and horrid. Other games that offer different controller/graphics support are cool. Perhaps other consoles but please dont take the risk.Apart from a minor yet major gaming flaw I would rate it 91/100 for stunning picture and overall quality. TCL knows what they’re doing and I would most definitely purchase this TV again.

Used for a couple days with movies, games, tv, etc. Decided to pull the plug and return it. Here’s why:1. The speakers sound like they’re blown out. Tried every sound setting across different media, but it was extremely distracting.2. The picture quality is crisp, but it lags. Also tried out different settings but even the sound was delayed with images on screen.3. As another reviewer pointed out, this should not be advertised as 120hz. This tv is 60hz. Systems like ps5 connected to it will tell you it’s not compatible with advanced settings.Overall, very disappointed. You get what you pay for.

I bought this on Black Friday. I set it up in my home (NY) and set it up in a vacation home (VT). I have used a Google TV previously and I found the setup very easy. I got a Roku soundbar which hooked up flawlessly. I also hooked in a Firestick which worked well, however I couldn't get it to power the TV on and off. When I tried to access Netflix in VT it asked me to validate my account. This is a 'feature' spawned by me using my subscription to Netflix from a different Internet Provider. It was a slight annoyance, but I wonder if future guests will face similar inspections (show me your papers!).The picture is great and the native Google TV works well. Roku & Firestick functions coexist nicely. I'm almost down to one remote except the Firestick won't cooperate with volume control on the Roku soundbar. All else is good for this cable cutter.

I hate this TV so much I kept telling my wife, "if I could return this thing, I'd do it tonight". I said that for 2 weeks before it occurred to me that Amazon offers Christmas season purchases returns through Jan 31. It gets picked up tomorrow and replaced with a Roku TV. Why?1. TV shows go blurry for 3-10 seconds after a commercial, then clear up. The TV is buffering. I'm an IT nerd. It's all setup right. We have 1gb internet up & down stream. No bottleneck there.2. The home screen has a cool "Recently Watched" section but shows we watch all the time disappear.3. Apps constantly tell me they "can't reach the server". I have to either navigate the Settings menu to Restart it, or power cycle it to get back into our show. This happens daily.4. The upscaling feature is p1$$poor and makes skin look stippled. Really weird.5. When using our Vizio sound bar, the on screen volume indicator shows no number or other indicator th know what the volume level is.6. It freezes and has to be Restarted or power cycles to work again. This happens daily.7. The remote is huge and has too many buttons. Specifically, it's difficult to hit the Volume +/- or Mute without looking at the remote to avoid hitting the wrong button and leaving a show and navigating somewhere else. We mute all commercials.8. The remote is RF, meaning you don't have to point it at the TV to operate it, which is great. It was a must-have feature when I selected this new TV... EXCEPT for the power button. The Power button is IR only. I spent 90 minutes on a call with TCL Tech Support updating firmware that was already up-to-date, restarting the atV more times than I can count, re-pairing the remote 7x, etc. They finally arranged to send me a new remote, only to find that this is how it's designed. The new remote is identical. 1st world problem, I know, but annoying nonetheless.Pros1. When not buffering or upscaling, it has a good picture.2. The concepts of the home screen layout are innovative and cool.3. It was pretty simple to set up.4. The price seemed fair compared to other similar TVs.5. The TCL TV app looks very nice and full featured. Very similar in feel to old time TV, where you watch the show when it comes on.
